For years, I thought fitness had to come from punishment.

Trying to change my body through restriction and criticism.

But what changed my relationship with exercise was performance.

Seeing myself get stronger week after week.

Eventually, discipline, consistency, the patience of learning to let my body recover, fueling properly instead of restricting, and commitment to a plan created a new me.

New habits, more energy, increased confidence, greater strength and resilience.
